The Soap Factory needs you! The Soap Factory is seeking artwork submissions for our annual $99 Sale. The 2009 sale promises even more art and bigger buzz. Directions for completing your artwork (click on the titles to reveal): 1. Create Draw, paint, collage, doodle, whatever on one side of a 5x7 piece of heavy paper. Whatever medium you choose. The work should be able to hang flat against a wall. We beg of you – please, do not sign the front. Flip the paper over and sign the back. (If your signature is not legible, please print your name alongside.) Add your e-mail or website if you want to hear from the collector and/or The Soap. 2. Return Drop off your work in the silver box outside The Soap Factory or mail to The Soap Factory, P.O. Box 581696, Minneapolis, MN 55458. Feel great about supporting the agent provocateur of the contemporary art scene.
Deadline and Details: • You can submit work until September 1, but the earlier we get your work, the longer we have to publicize your participation (last year's media coverage included apartmenttherapy.com, 3 minute egg, City Pages and many more...submit early for the best publicity!). • Each participating artist can purchase a ticket to the preview sale for $9.90 (normally $35). These tickets can be purchased via the tickets page using PayPal. • ALL participating artists will be listed as contributors on the donation wall in the gallery. • You can donate up to three works. • If you provide legible contact information on the back of your work, you will be contacted no later than October 1 with an update on whether your work sold. • If your donation does not sell you can either pick it up at The Soap Factory during gallery hours or contribute it to The Soap Factory for next year's sale. • For more information, please contact Debra deNoyelles: debra(at)soapfactory.org Thank you!
